Our Employee Spotlight is on Scott Pontius

Paytas Homes would like you to meet Scott Pontius. Scott is the first person we will feature in our “Meet Our Paytas Homes Family” posts that will give our homeowners a bit more insight as to who makes up our Paytas Homes Team.

Scott Pontius is our Construction Manager that heads up and oversees our construction department. Each of our communities has a Supervisor in which Scott manages, works with on scheduling and participates in general construction/production. Scott started in residential construction in his home of Indiana in 1986 and moved to Florida in 1999 with his wife Shellie, then joined our Paytas Homes Team in 2004. His favorite thing about working at Paytas Homes is the “Pride of Product” and the toughest thing for him is not being able to be involved in every aspect, of every home, at all times. When it is time for relaxation, Scott spends his time fishing, paddle boarding, gardening and has recently began to play guitar. However, nothing compares to being able to spend time with the newest addition to his family, his 8-month-old grandson, Iziah.

Scott has a great work ethic and is respected for the care he puts into his work. Our team is thankful to have Scott out in the field overseeing projects and making sure things are always moving forward.
